First Snow

Layout for Bo Bunny's Blog Sketch Challenge

After moving from Florida to Kodiak, Alaska, last June, my grandchildren had to wait until January to have enough snow to play in! While the rest of the country is buried in snow, we in Alaska have had one of the mildest winters on record.
This layout is based on Bo Bunny's Blog Sketch for February (see sketch below). All of the paper, the alphas, and the brackets are from Bo Bunny's Enchanted Garden collection. It was fun to use paper that is so full of flowers, leaves, and fairies for a winter layout. The snowflakes were cut with Sizzix dies on glitter paper, the washi is a mixed assortment (mostly from PinkFresh), and some extra sparkle is provided by Stickles.
