Tuba City Boarding School

This is a page for the album of my life "BC" - Before Children.

I'm making one for each of my kids.

This layout documents the two years we spent in Tuba City, Arizona

We're Here!

My daughter and family are Coast Guard, so they get transferred around every few years.

Lucky for all of us (especially me) they got stationed here in Kodiak for two years.

This page documents their arrival on the ferry from the mainland after driving

from Florida with their camper. They were only here for two years, but it was

two wonderful years for this grandma!

Still Laughing

Another two pages for my Covid-19/2020 Traveler's Notebook.

I did an earlier spread with some of my favorite pandemic memes,

and I thought I'd add some more. There is, after all, a never-ending supply!

All materials from Simple Stories Quarantined collection.

March

The March on Washington in October of 1967.

Learning in 2020

Two more pages for my Covid/2020 Traveler's Notebook.

The ScrapHappy LOAD prompt was about learning.

All materials from Simple Stories' Quarantined collection.

Gather

 Thanksgiving 2014

A special Thanksgiving since my daughter and family, who are Coast Guard,

were stationed here and we got to have holidays with them for two years.

This page is for my granddaughter's album.

Down a Road and Back Again

Documenting a road trip taken with one of my best friends in 2016.

Inspired by ScrapHappy's Layout a Day (LOAD) challenge, Live Golden,

all about the Golden Girls, the title is a line from the show's theme song.

Also used ScrapHappy's April sketch.

Most of the materials are from Keep It Simple's Hello Adventure collection.
