Louise and Robert Walker

Another page for my Heritage album.
This is my mom's closest sister and her husband -
when they married in the 1930s, a little later in life,
and then when I visited them in 1971.

Moments That Matter

I used this photo on a layout for my grandson, so of course I had to
do one for my granddaughter as well.

Christmas Time 2019

Christmas for the grandkids in League City, Texas, 2019.
This page shows the many activities at home and around the town;
the next page will show Christmas Day itself.

Even though the colors are dark and don't match the pictures very well,
I used some of Graphic 45's Christmas Time collection - I love the
look and I've been wanting to use it up.

Little Kids, Big City

My daughter and family enjoyed a trip to Japan a few years ago.
I just love the photo of the two of them looking out the hotel room window,
gazing at Tokyo, the biggest city they'd ever been in!

My grandson just started 4-H this year and he and his sister are raising bunnies.
Unfortunately, it's not going as well as planned!

The One With the Halloween Party

Inspired by ScrapHappy's LOAD challenge with the theme of the Friends TV show.
Using the prompt The one with the..., which is how all episodes were titled.
This title, in fact, really was the name of one of the episodes.

The one above is for my granddaughter's album, the one below for my grandson's.

Dreams On Hold

When my daughter and family moved to Pinetop, AZ in 2019, my plan was to buy a condo there and spend parts of each year with them. Then Covid came! Not only did it squelch my travel plans, but reasonably-priced condos for sale disappeared! One of these days...

3-1 @ 125

One of my grandsons is a competitive wrestler, but unfortunately last fall's season was almost nil due to Covid and weather. He only got to go to one tournament and won 3 of his 4 matches and wrestled at 125 pounds.

Let's Go!

Another spread for my Covid TN.
We had a time last fall when we thought Covid was coming to an end.
My friends and I started going out in public spaces - didn't last long, but sure was fun!

Annie Jr.

My granddaughter played Mr. Warbucks in Annie Jr.
Due to Covid I was unable to go, but I heard she did a terrific job!
This is the left side of a two-page spread.

I was able to use an Annie cut-file that I found at Scrapbook Concierge Digital.

Home is the Sweetest Word There Is

For my Covid 19 Traveler's Notebook.
A bit of redecorating when I grew tired of my surroundings.

Day 2 prompt for ScrapHappy's LOAD:
What is home for you?

I'll (NOT) Be There For You

A two-page spread in my Covid 19 Traveler's Notebook about the trips I have missed due to Covid.
I haven't traveled for two years; my last trip was to visit my daughter and family (lower left).
How I miss those grandchildren!

These pages were inspired by a prompt on the first day of ScrapHappy's LOAD222.
This month the theme is the TV show Friends, and this prompt was about the show's
theme song "I'll Be There For You" and the opening scene, which had unplanned
fun in the fountain. My planned fun was lost in the pandemic.
